The <a href=\"http:\/\/cambridgeramblingclub.com\">Cambridge Rambling Club<\/a> A group walk around Histon was cancelled so <a href=\"http:\/\/sallyinnorfolk.com\">Sally<\/a> &amp; I met up with Jill at the usual starting place in Harvey Road and\u00a0concocted\u00a0our own walk up to Coton (where we bumped into the B group) then across to Grantchester for a scone and cuppa at The Orchard with a ramble back along the river to Cambridge.<\/p>\n<p>A very pretty walk in the snow, although my legs found it quite tiring like walking along the beach. The most surprising part was that the Coton Footpath had been largely cleared of snow so was easy walking.<\/p>\n<p>My <a href=\"http:\/\/fitbit.com\">Fitbit<\/a> said I covered 15.4 miles burning 2700 calories the Etrex GPS made it 14.7 miles (3mph) so pretty close. I took quite a<a href=\"https:\/\/picasaweb.google.com\/111882957452855371846\/20120205CambridgeSnowWalk\"> few pictures<\/a> and also made a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.everytrail.com\/view_trip.php?trip_id=1441222\">Everytrail of the walk here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_2931\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-2931\" style=\"width: 249px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><a href=\"https:\/\/geoffjones.com\/?attachment_id=2931\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-2931\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-2931 \" title=\"Snowman on a wall\" src=\"https:\/\/geoffjones.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/02\/IMG_4783-249x300.jpg\" alt=\"Snowman with can on a wall\" width=\"249\" height=\"300\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-2931\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Snowman on a wall<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>It was interesting to see the different types of snowmen that students had been making especially the latest trend of creating them sat down on park benches etc My favourite was this one on Elizabeth Way.<\/p>\n<p>The day ended with one of <a href=\"http:\/\/sallykelly.com\">Sally&#8217;s<\/a> wonderfully relaxing hot stone massage \ud83d\ude42 I tried to use my <a href=\"http:\/\/www.myzeo.com\/sleep\/\">Zeo<\/a> sleep measuring device to see how deep a sleep I go into, but it insisted I needed to plug the iPhone in \ud83d\ude41 and lets face it when you are so relaxed can you be bothered&#8230;.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>After last night&#8217;s epic (by Cambridge standards) 4&#8243; of snow.
