{"id":18398,"date":"2019-03-25T22:07:11","date_gmt":"2019-03-25T22:07:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.geoffjones.com\/?p=18398"},"modified":"2019-03-25T22:07:11","modified_gmt":"2019-03-25T22:07:11","slug":"slow-start-to-2019","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/newsite.geoffjones.com\/?p=18398","title":{"rendered":"Slow start to 2019"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>2019 has got off to a slow start for me cycling wise \ud83d\ude41 My mileage is currently way down from the 3013km at this point last year, in fact, it currently is\u00a0 only 1647 km\u00a0 plus I&#8217;m finding myself much slower up the hills which could be due to the additional 1.5kg I&#8217;ve accrued \ud83d\ude41\u00a0 since this last time last year.<\/p>\n<p>So with the fine weather forecast and a northerly wind today to help me get to Harwich I decided to do a mini tour to Europe \ud83d\ude42 Unfortunately I&#8217;ve come a bit underdressed without a proper jacket \ud83d\ude41 so by the time I arrived at 8 pm it was getting a bit parky especially since boarding doesn&#8217;t start till 10 pm.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s also the first time the Genesis has been touring, today I left with it weighing in at 21 kg with all my baggage.
