That I would cycle the best part of 50 miles to stay on a golf course \ud83d\ude42 As the saying goes when \u201cneeds must the devil drives\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>I started the day with no grand breakfast as Funky don&#8217;t do food and none of the neighbouring restaurants were open. I pedalled up the 300ft hill to the shopping centre which conveniently had a\u00a0<em>McDonalds<\/em> interestingly price wise it was nearly as expensive as my fish &amp; chips last night. Good job I did stop though as the only place I went through, Humandorf, seemed a right dump. After that not a shop or cafe for 40 miles \ud83d\ude41<\/p>\n<p>The R102\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/geoffjones.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/1-IMG_1531.jpg\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-14602\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-14602\" src=\"https:\/\/geoffjones.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/1-IMG_1531-300x200.jpg\" alt=\"1-IMG_1531\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" srcset=\"https:\/\/newsite.geoffjones.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/1-IMG_1531-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/newsite.geoffjones.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/1-IMG_1531-1024x683.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/newsite.geoffjones.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/1-IMG_1531-768x512.jpg 768w, https:\/\/newsite.geoffjones.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/1-IMG_1531.jpg 1386w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a>is very undulating with some quite big valleys to cross as well. I seemed to spend hours through pine forests with a range of mountains to the right. A bit like Scotland although sunny &amp; red hot. The shower has the most incredible pressure you could use it as a pressure washer.<\/p>\n<p>So <a href=\"https:\/\/www.strava.com\/activities\/500338594\">Strava says 49.5 miles<\/a> and 2,595 feet of climbing.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Who have thought with my dislike of golf.
