Today I forgot to turn the Strava app on until I cycled over 6 miles \ud83d\ude41 plus the cadence meter obviously was knocked out of alignment too, as Strava didn&#8217;t record my cadence.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/geoffjones.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/08\/IMG_3367.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-11436\" alt=\"elegant bench\" src=\"https:\/\/geoffjones.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/08\/IMG_3367-300x248.jpg\" width=\"300\" height=\"248\" srcset=\"https:\/\/newsite.geoffjones.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/08\/IMG_3367-300x248.jpg 300w, https:\/\/newsite.geoffjones.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/08\/IMG_3367-768x636.jpg 768w, https:\/\/newsite.geoffjones.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/08\/IMG_3367.jpg 800w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a>A pleasant day for biking although it&#8217;s getting really quite cold in the mornings. The Hills soon warmed me up though. \u00a0I loved the <a href=\"https:\/\/plus.google.com\/photos\/111882957452855371846\/albums\/5912026908184373489\/5912028047378799570?pid=5912028047378799570&amp;oid=111882957452855371846\">ultra smart cycleway <\/a>that abruptly ended at the start of the Jura department. I admired the totally over the top <a href=\"http:\/\/www.salineroyale.com\/\">Saline Royale <\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/plus.google.com\/photos\/111882957452855371846\/albums\/5912026908184373489\/5912028073248255906?pid=5912028073248255906&amp;oid=111882957452855371846\">gateway<\/a>. Plus the rather gorgeous looking public benches in Ranchot. In Mouchard there was a lovely wooden telephone kiosk\u00a0. I enjoyed a lovely lunch in Arbois. Then the climbing started&#8230;..<\/p>\n<p>I gave up when the Hotel des Lacs\u00a0\u00a0hoved into view.
