It&#8217;s either or:-<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The Panniers<\/li>\n<li>The Viewranger app<\/li>\n<li>or me<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<figure id=\"attachment_11366\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-11366\" style=\"width: 300px\" class=\"wp-caption alignleft\"><a href=\"https:\/\/geoffjones.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/08\/IMG_3199.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-11366\" title=\"Cobbled road\" alt=\"IMG_3199\" src=\"https:\/\/geoffjones.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/08\/IMG_3199-300x200.jpg\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" srcset=\"https:\/\/newsite.geoffjones.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/08\/IMG_3199-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/newsite.geoffjones.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/08\/IMG_3199-768x513.jpg 768w, https:\/\/newsite.geoffjones.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/08\/IMG_3199.jpg 800w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-11366\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">To think the Tour de France rode on these!<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Today,\u00a0Fresnes Les Montauban &#8211; Le Cateau-Cambresi\u00a0was really tough even though it was a fine day weather wise, my carefully planned Viewranger route was rubbish, no way of telling if the &#8216;road&#8217; is a track, what the distance is, what the village name is etc etc. I ended up with the artics again plus riding through endless \u00a0cafe less villages but all well endowed with Aldi &amp; Lidl&#8217;s \ud83d\ude41<\/p>\n<p>I have ended up at\u00a0Le Cateau-Cambresi <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Henri_Matisse\">birthplace of Matisse<\/a>, although what he would make of mega combines &amp; tractors, I&#8217;m not sure. The hotel &amp; restaurant Des Digues is superb and with a bottle of Brouilly inside me the world seems somewhat cheerier.<\/p>\n<p>I have now created a route to Rheims using the Gaia app it tells me it is 78 miles so I will be very lucky to make it.
